A Very Special Note to You Regarding our Reopening!

Dear Friends, Customers, and Family,

It has been an unexpected journey since March 22nd when we closed our doors due to COVID-19. Like so many other businesses, we were in the middle of so much excitement with our business and many wheels in motion. Within a matter of days, more than 2 months of every single catering event canceled. And this is just after making the important decision to add a full-time Kitchen Catering Coordinator to help expand our catering business.

And while our cafe & bakery could have remained open for to-go service, we made the very challenging decision to support flattening the curve in a time when so much was unknown and scary. We have taken all of that time to reevaluate all that we do and how we will forge ahead.

We are beyond grateful that we have been supported by many of your through our weekly meal service that we have been offering since the beginning of April. This has helped us handle our many fixed costs and keep things operational.

We have taken our time in considering how to reopen, how to support our team, and keep you and everyone safe when returning to Cleveland Vegan.

On Tuesday, May 19th we will be open for a more substantial taste of what we have to offer…not our full services yet but we are getting there. We will have available the following services:
– grab and go deli case
– bakery cases stocked
– full beverage service (coffee, espresso, cold-pressed juice, smoothies and more)
– weekly meal service will still be available 5/24 & 5/31

Our hours will be Tuesday-Saturday 9am-7pm and Sundays 9am-3pm.

And then on Tuesday, June 2nd, we will open our restaurant again. Yes, things will look different, but still so much of the same goodness! We will absolutely be following all state-mandated health and safety precautions and more. All of our team members will wear face covers/masks. We will have a maximum number of people inside the cafe. We will have hand sanitizer available at all point of sale stations. During every shift, we have a designated sanitation person who will be cleaning/sanitizing all touchpoints at the cafe (doors, tables, chairs, countertops & more). The frequency of handwashing will be an absolute and we ask that you do as well. Our employee’s health will be monitored at the start of their shift and throughout. We will, of course, be wearing gloves while preparing & handling all food.

We know there is so much consideration in your decision to return to dine with us, and we understand that it may take time for some to be ready to return, and for that, we understand!

We just want you to know we have taken this very seriously and while things will be different for a while, we are truly excited to return to serving you.
